- Derick: Hi Erwin! I've been saying exactly the same thing! It really is the perfect way to present your portfolio on the go. As far as the specs are concerned, it has most of what I was hoping for: great screen, at least 10hr battery life, solid state memory, speedy performance, a smooth and intuitive multitouch interface, and PIM functions. However, considering price per GB, lack of support for Flash. inability to multitask, lack of expandable memory or even one usb port, are getting me down. SSD tech is still new, so I can understand. Flash just makes sense for us, the consumers.. who are buying the product, so I'm not sure what Apple is thinking. SD/SDHC/SDXC slot seems like it would fit in an iPad. A CF slot would be a dream! A single usb port would be would suffice in terms of expandable memory. So personally, I am going to hope those features make it to the second gen; maybe they'll add the camera as well ;) Anyway, I apologize for the blurb! I've been weighing pros and cons since the other day haha... Keep up the amazing work, man :) ( 29/01/2010 05:53 )
- DwikoArie: Definitely is the way forward. I thought of the same thing when I saw the device for the first time "Wow, that would be an ideal thing to carry around when meeting clients of even on a shoot" - small, yet the screen is great enough to show our work! if they have a buy one get one free offer, I want the free iPad Win... Apple Ipad | This will Change the way We shows Portfolio Images

Yesterday was a big day for Apple. They announced their newest advanced technology device.
When I saw the news, I was so excited. This really can change my way to show my portfolio work at the client meetings.
I have been waiting for a device that cool and revolutionary for my photography world. I hate bringing my 17″ Macbook Pro way to big..
Apple Ipad is the answer to my prayers :)
I travels a lot for my Wedding Photography, Apple Ipad will help me bring all my portfolio images anywhere in the world and showing off my work to my potential clients.
I know Ipad still need some improvement like flash support, a camera maybe :)
but for my needs at this moment.. , this is a great start.. !!
I can’t wait to get this cool device once they are available to order.. Great Job Mr Steve Jobs.. :)
p.s To all my fellow photographers.. what do you think about this new Ipad device ?? :)
